Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (
AMBAG). LSG is contracted to 1) develop regional multi-participant data sharing agreement. Agencies involved include local, regional, state and federal, as well as a variety of non-profit organizations, private businesses, universities and colleges. 2) develop regional parcel-based automated-mapping/GIS; 3) complete a regional metadata clearinghouse for spatial data. The Central Coast Joint Data Committee is a byproduct of these efforts.

Brickman Marketing. Contracted to develop data base for marketing professionals.

Business Records Corporation. Contracted for GIS consulting services and the presentation of GIS workshops for client city with multiple participating agencies.

Cabrillo College. Contracted to teach Introduction to Geographic Information Systems.

CalTrans. Contracted, with Parsons Brinckerhoff, to coordinate GIS activites for the Coast Highway Management Plan.

Cargill Salt Company. Contracted to develop GIS systems design, data base and implementation plan.

City of Gilroy. Contracted, with Pacific Geographic Systems, to develop a prototype GIS for the City. Land Systems Group was the Project Manager for this venture.

City of Livermore. Contracted to develop a GIS Master Plan for the City and to assist in followon implementation; includes development of a Needs Analysis, System Specification and Implementation Plan.

City of Los Altos. Contracted to provide GIS systems design and implementation plan. Contracted, with Lynx Technologies, to provide project management for its map conversion project.

City of Monterey. Contracted to develop General Plan data and maps.

Great Valley Center. Land Systems Group, working with the California Geographic Information Association and the Great Valley Center, contracted to develop an 8-county GIS framework for the Central Valley, from San Joaquin through Kern Counties. Resulting publication: Mapping the Future. Further contracted to focus on GIS and Homeland Security preparedness.

Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network. Contracted, with Psomas and Associates, to review permitting requirements for participants in the Silicon Valley network of cities, to assess current proposals and existing systems and to design standard and web-based solutions for implementation.

LandWatch Monterey County. Contracted to analyze land conversion requirements to meet area 2020 housing needs.

Monterey Peninsula Water Management District. Contracted first to provide GIS coverage and conduct research on Assessor parcels and legal lots for allocation of water resources, LSG mapped the lots on improved parcels within the California-American Water Service Area, comparing them to high-resolution orthophotography to determine vacant lot status and their associated water requirements at buildout. Contracted to develop electronic, searchable policies and procedures guidelines for the District.

Moss Landing Harbor District. Contracted as land use planners to review applications coming to the District as well as those generated by the District. Responsible for all aspects of permit processing including environmental review, initial studies, scopes of work, public hearings and study development. Further contracted to develop new ordinances for the District.

 


City of Mountain View
, California. Contracted, along with Psomas and Associates, to evaluate, negotiate for, and install permitting systems for the City.

City of Napa , California . Contracted to develop needs assessment, requirements document, and benchmarking tools for the selection of permitting and project tracking system. Followon work for negotiation and implementation is included. Also contracted to scrub, populate and maintain land-based data for the development agencies.

City of Pacific Grove, California. Contracted to conduct survey of permitting systems; to develop, on an emergency basis, an Assessor parcel-based water allocation tracking system. Other work includes project monitoring and permit processing and renewal. Regularly consults on GIS development. Additional assistance in the area of aerial photography and data base monitoring.

City of Pleasanton, California. Contracted to facilitate multi-agency meeting to develop common Geographic Information System (GIS).

Redwood City, California. Contracted, with Psomas and Associates, to assist with the selection and installation of a permitting system.

City and County of San Francisco. Subcontracted to install emergency command system accessing critical departments and delivering resource data through GIS.

City of San Jose. Contracted, with Psomas Associates, to provide risk containment services for development of the City's integrated GIS and permitting system.

City of San Mateo. Contracted to develop a GIS Master Plan for the City and to develop a GIS Coordinator position.

Santa Clara University. Contracted to guide the development of an environmental history GIS for the campus and surrounding area.

Santa Clara Valley Water District. Contracted to conduct GIS position evaluation, GIS scope and salary for enterprise-wide applications.

Shepard's/McGraw-Hill. Contracted to design hypertext manual of California Land Use Procedure as a means to streamline, guide and implement permit processing.

Stanford University. Contracted, along with PlanGraphics, Inc., to provide a conceptual system design for a spatial information management system (SIMS), covering the University's 11 utilities, buildings, commercial enterprises, construction development and permitting, and residential holdings.

Tri-Valley Business Council. Contracted to develop regional data sharing agreement, to develop regional GIS platform and to support regional GIS consortium.

University of California, Berkeley, Extension. Contracted to teach Geographic Information Systems for Land Use Planning.

University of California, Santa Clara, Extension. Contracted to teach Introduction to Geographic Information Systems.
